Shop Specialist is an expert in an assigned department or specialized functional area, responsible for delivering distinctive guest experiences and driving sales results. The Costa Shop Specialist sells a wide assortment of high-end and luxury products in a sophisticated retail environment, and is accountable to be knowledgeable and up to date on the products and unique offerings available onboard.

Responsibilities:
Understanding the overall market ( e.g., competitors` strengths and weaknesses, trends, guest demographic, etc.).
Delivering brand service strategies and supporting product initiatives.
Maintaining selling floor presentations and marketing, and restocking as needed.
Being accountable for completion of stock count daily; perpetual inventory activities.
Cross-training and working in all areas/locations as required.
Performing other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
Seeking to build deep relationships through the guest journey by sharing stories that inspire guests.
Portraying a positive image of the onboard retail shops to the guests in order to build trust and credibility for the entire shop team.
Responding promptly to resolve guests` requests and feedback, following up with guests as appropriate, escalating to management as necessary.
Building trust as a credible expert through personal presence, social skills, general knowledge, and presentation.
Providing an informed and accurate response about products and services offered reflecting a commitment to the guest.
Participating in company and cruise line trainings as required.
Achieving or exceeding personal sales goals to maximize revenue opportunities independently.
Utilizing retail systems and procedures to enhance selling efficiencies.
Requirements:
Minimum 19 years old
Good level of English and Russian
Knowledge of any additional European language is an advantage ( Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese)
Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospitality. Luxury guest experience is of interest.
Preferred experience in apparel, perfumery, jewelry, eyewear, beauty products with main brands
Ability to initiate conversation and establish relationships with customers
