The primary responsibility of the Laundry Attendant is to perform laundry duties such as the receiving, washing, drying/ironing and delivering linen from all departments in accordance with company standards and to assist the Linen Keeper in the control, storage, delivery, and receiving of all linens, towels, and uniforms

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in conjunction with the Laundry Assistant Manager.
Notify the Laundry Assistant Manager of any problems regarding the linen, towels and uniforms.
Receive soiled galley uniforms, sort, and issue clean ones.
Responsible for the main linen and uniform storage room.
Inventory Linen and Uniform storage room with the Laundry Assistant Manager when required by Director of F&B or Head of Department.
Assist in checking the condition of linen towels and uniforms and inform Laundry Assistant and Housekeeping Supervisor of any issues or damages.
Assist the Laundry Assistant Manager with the counting and logging all the incoming and outgoing linens, towels and uniforms.
Prepare linens and towels for Suite and House Attendants for morning and turn down service.
Ensure that all Suite Attendants and House Attendants have enough linens and towels for service of suites. Inform Laundry Assistant Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor promptly of any shortages.
Advises Laundry Assistant Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor when there is a need to issue new linen and towels for guest and crew.

REQUIREMENTS:
Cruise ship experience mandatory
21+ years old, no offensive tattoos allowed
Elementary and middle school education (8th grade ) or higher . Equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of two years related experience in hospitality field, preferably in laundry in luxury hotels and/or onboard cruise line
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English are a must
Open minded and flexible.
Ability to work with international crew and guests.
Adhere to specific scheduled work hours yet be flexible if circumstances require it.
Work with international team members.
Perform assigned duties under pressure (time constraints).
Possess ability to lead and make decisions.
Willingness to live and work onboard the Yacht for extended periods, with travel to various international destinations.
