As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision of activities of the Hotel Stewards, Staff Attendants, Pool Attendants to ensure clean, orderly and attractive public areas and guest staterooms. Responsible for the efficient daily operation, work process and cleanliness of the Housekeeping Department, including public areas and hallways, guest staterooms, pantries, lockers, crew areas, crew quarters, the laundry and linen rooms assigned as his/her section, and ensure the fulfillment of all operating requirements.

β RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assign duties to staff and instruct them on follow-up and special projects.
Inspect open decks, lobbies, outlets, offices and surrounding areas as needed.
Maintain a daily logbook on inspected areas, assignments given to staff, special projects, maintenance deficiencies and significant events/activities during shift.
See to adequate storage of supply inventories on assigned decks and safeguard against waste, shortages, and losses.
Conduct inventory checks as needed.
Prepare supervisor report and complete requisition forms for needed supplies.
Report maintenance deficiencies that require immediate attention and follow up on status.
Report any loss or damage of furniture, fixtures or equipment.
Supervise the proper use and care of equipment.
Record any item left in public areas by guests and turn them in to the Reception Desk.
REQUIEREMENTS:
Minimum 21 years old
Relevant ship experience is preferred
Good level of English language
Ship experience is preferred
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
