As a Hairdresser, you help guests look and feel their best while onboard. You manage the salon and provide professional hair services. By keeping the salon clean, organized, and welcoming, and by supporting other departments when needed, you help make the guests’ experience enjoyable and comfortable.

No Safety certificates or Seaman's book required

Duties and responsibilities:
Cleaning 6 staterooms during changing day in compliance with Scylla standards and hygienic guidelines.
Cleaning the Salon/ SPA area daily and minimum 1 general cleaning per week.
Responsible for all Hairdresser appointments in compliance to Scylla standards.
Responsible for welcome towels after excursion in compliance with the Masseur/ Masseuse (if on board).
Responsible for the early riser breakfast from 07.00 am – 09.00 am in Bistro/ Lido/ Arthur’s in compliance in compliance to company standards.
Check and refill the fitness room (towels, water, etc.) several times a day.Assists with "Turn-down" service on a daily base.
Reporting technical defects in the salon area to the Reception.
Assistance in the Laundry for minimum 3 hours a day.
Assistance with cleaning the staterooms on daily basis if necessary
Responsible for the morning cleaning of the mess room.
Responsible for all sun deck towels and blankets several times a day.
Adherence to cleanliness and hygienic regulations in compliance with HACCP regulations and company standards.

Requirements:
Experienced in that area and/ or previous river cruise ship experience, having a certain certificates for hairstyling.
Outstanding skills and experience in this role with an extensive hands-on experience.
Excellent organizational, inventory and decision-making skills.
Flexibility, stress resistant, calm under the pressure, resilient and team player with positive approach.
Professional attitude and appearance, reliable and hard-working with great team spirit.
Open minded and flexible with high social, interpersonal and cultural competencies.
Good English skills (written & verbal), other languages as German is an advantage.
