β RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Onboard Retail (OBR) Flex team, the Wood Carver contributes to daily operations in areas such as Shore Excursions, Gift Shop, Spa, and Photo Studio. The ideal candidate is a skilled artisan with a passion for guest engagement, capable of adapting to various roles while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and professionalism in a fast-paced, multicultural cruise environment
Shore Excursions Support: Assist guests with booking shore excursions, providing clear and accurate tour information. Responsibilities include managing ticketing, documentation, and addressing guest inquiries. During embarkation and debarkation, support the logistics and dispatch of excursions to ensure smooth operations.
Gift Shop Operations: Welcome guests into the onboard gift shop and provide assistance with merchandise selection. Promote and sell products while ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties also include inventory management, restocking, merchandising, and operating the POS system for transactions.
Spa Reception Assistance: Greet spa guests warmly, manage check-ins, and schedule appointments. Provide detailed information about spa services, products, and promotions. Process payments accurately and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
Photo Studio Support: Help guests with photo selections and respond to questions about photo packages. Assist with the setup and breakdown of photo shoots and promote photo-related merchandise. Ensure the photo studio maintains a professional and guest-friendly atmosphere.
Wood Carver Demonstrator: Conduct live wood carving demonstrations in designated onboard areas, engaging guests by explaining carving techniques, tools, and materials. Create carvings for sale or display and maintain a safe, organized workspace that enhances the guest experience

β REQUIEREMENTS:
Minimum 21 years old
Good level of English language
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
Work in varying light and weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work 7 days a week
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, tourism, or related field preferred
Minimum 1β2 years of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or related industries
Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in high-pressure setting
Passionate about hospitality and customer service.
