As Youth Program Manager, you are a dynamic, creative, and organized leader responsible for
delivering an exceptional youth and family programming experience onboard Margaritaville at
Sea. This role champions the onboard concept of `escapism and `fun at sea, promoting its four
signature pillars: Art, Creativity, Recreation, and STEM. Working closely with the Cruise Director
and Entertainment Leadership, the Youth Program Manager ensures the smooth coordination,
scheduling, and execution of all youth-focused offerings, including toddler time, youth programs
(ages 3โ€“17), teen activities, family-friendly events, and seasonal and holiday celebrations.

โš“ RESPONSIBILITIES:

At Margaritaville at Sea, we embrace the laid-back lifestyle with a splash of adventure. The Youth Program Manager brings this spirit to life for our youngest guests, combining fun, imagination, and educational enrichment to create unforgettable cruise memories.

  • Supervise and motivate the Youth Team, including Youth Counselors and seasonal staff.
  • Provide consistent leadership, coaching, and recognition, fostering a positive team culture.
  • Conduct ongoing training and development to ensure brand standards, safety protocols, and guest service expectations are met.
  • Execute and innovate youth and teen programs that align with Margaritavilleโ€™s brand valuesโ€”fun, escapism, and discovery.
  • Oversee the delivery of programs in the categories: Art, Culinary, Recreation, and STEM.
  • Ensure family programming and special events (e.g., holiday parties, themed celebrations) are engaging, well-organized, and accessible.
  • Collaborate with the Cruise Director to manage daily schedules, venue coordination, and staffing allocations.
  • Maintain compliance with all USPH, ILO, and company SOPs related to youth operations.
  • Ensure all check-in/check-out procedures, safety briefings, and incident reports are completed accurately and efficiently.

    • Minimum 21 years old
    • Relevant ship experience is preferred
    • Good level of English language
    • Ship experience is preferred
    • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
