The Physiotherapist provides professional therapeutic treatments and wellness services to guests onboard, focusing on pain relief, rehabilitation, and physical well-being. The role combines clinical knowledge with a hospitality approach, delivering high-quality care while promoting spa services and wellness programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform physiotherapy treatments, including musculoskeletal assessments, rehabilitation exercises, manual therapy techniques
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on guest needs and conditions
  • Provide consultations and recommend appropriate therapies and wellness programs
  • Promote and sell spa and wellness services and products
  • Maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation
  • Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in excellent condition
  • Educate guests on injury prevention, posture, and physical health
  • Work closely with Spa team members to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and performance goals
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, and onboard promotional activities
  • Follow all company policies and participate in safety drills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification)
  • Valid professional license or certification (as required by employer)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in physiotherapy or rehabilitation
  • Experience in spa, wellness, or hospitality environment is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, rehabilitation techniques, manual therapy methods
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
